Seminar discussion with the Private Sector and Government on the CFTA

Objectives
The objectives of the brown bag event are the following:
i. Update participants on the global trade landscape and potential scenarios for trade and investment to underscore the relevance of the AfCFTA for the future of Africa
ii. Explain the content of the AfCFTA Agreement
iii. The Built-in Agenda and Phase 2 Negotiations
iv. Discuss how can the private sector engage in the AfCFTA processes and take advantage of the agreement.

Key Speaker
Ms. Anabel Gonzalez. Ms. Gonzalez is a global expert on trade, investment and economic development, who has served as the World Bank Senior Director on Trade and Competitiveness, Minister of Trade of Costa Rica and World Trade Organization Director of Agriculture, among others, will lead the seminar discussion.
